Description

White marble statue of the Virgin with Child, dating from the beginning of the 14th century, originally located in the church of Saint-Germain-en-Laud under the title of Our Lady of Salve, then hidden at Grand-Douzillé before being returned to the Church of Saint-Laud on May 29, 1887. The reverse indicates the publisher 'Maurice Légitien - Angers'.
