Description

View of the Gothic tomb of the Counts of Provence in the Saint-Jean de Malte church in Aix, with the recumbent statue of Alphonse II (d. 1209) and those of Raymond Bérenger IV (d. 1245) and Béatrix, Queen of Naples (d. 1277). The monument was destroyed in 1793 and rebuilt in 1826. Reverse: postcard 'Typ' with space for correspondence and address, trademark and model registered.
