Description

Black and white view of the Nile shore, with a row of palm trees and a dirt path. The printed text 'BORD DU NIL.' appears at the top and bottom. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 14 December 1913, addressed to 'Ma petite Marie Chérie', mentions a trip to Egypt and the destination of Béjaïa. The stamp and cancellation are visible at the top left.
