Description

Outdoor commemorative statue depicting a woman helping an elderly man, erected to honor Daniel v. d. Heydt, founder of the new organization for aiding the poor in Elberfeld (1853-1905). The reverse has a handwritten letter addressed to Mr. Ramp in Werdau, Germany, with two 5 pfennig stamps and a postmark from Elberfeld dated June 13, 1905.
