Illustration of two women in traditional Alsatian costumes, one standing holding a pot, the other seated with a large black hat. The reverse features a handwritten letter in French sent from Strasbourg to Rennes (France), with a 10 pfennig German postage stamp and a Strasbourg cancellation dated July 3, 1903.
