Description

View of the Largoët fortress in Elven, with its stone towers and a pond in the foreground. The printed text relates the burning of the castle by the French in 1487 and its restoration in 1491 by Duchess Anne. The reverse bears a handwritten letter dated 1909, sent by 'Roger' to 'Gérard', mentioning a walk in Elven and 'petites' (probably children).
