A Breton girl, dressed in traditional clothing and wearing sandals, carries a large bundle of wood on her head, walking along a forest path. Printed text at the bottom: 'In Brittany - Young girl from Concarneau returning from gathering wood in the forest'. Back: handwritten text dated 19 October 1919, addressed to a recipient in Rennes, with a postmark and partial cancellation.
