Description

Two young children pose in traditional costumes in front of a forest backdrop, one in a masculine outfit, the other in a dress with lace and a headpiece. The handwritten inscription at the bottom reads 'Affectionate soccianis W. Attie 1911'. The back features a handwritten letter dated 19 October 1911, addressed to 'My dear Betty', mentioning news from 'my little house' and the 'two children' at 'Soccianis'.
