Color illustration of a river scene where a child dressed as a lamb approaches an anthropomorphic wolf, observed by other children sitting on a wooden pontoon and in the water. The reverse has a handwritten address to Germaine Poubout in Paris, a 1900 postage stamp, and printed text: 'All foreign countries do not accept mail to the post office (Inquire at the post office).'
