Description

View of the entrance to the suspension bridge in St-Claude, in the Jura, with its metal cables and Gothic arch, at the foot of a steep relief. Printed text indicates the dimensions (150 m long, 50 m high) and altitude (440 m). Reverse: 25-centime postage stamp, Saint-Claude cancellation, handwritten address to Marseille, and mention 'Correspondence' with the logo 'UNIS-FRANCE'.
