Description

View of the Gorges du Fier in Annecy, with a metal path below and inscriptions carved into the rock face indicating historical floods (October 1886, January 1879, March 1899, January 1926, March 1926). The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to Monsieur Leyrid in Besançon, dated September 1st, 1920, describing the landscapes and local excursions. Two green stamps of 15c and 25c are affixed at the top right, with partial cancellation.
