View of the Gorges du Fier in Haute-Savoie, with a woman in a long dress posing on a metal balcony at the edge of the rocky canyon. The reverse has a handwritten correspondence in cursive script, addressed to Mr. Philippe in Tlemcen (Algeria), with two postmarks from Lovagny (1855) and Tlemcen (26-07).
