Description

Black and white view of the ruins of an ancient monastery at Montmajor, near Arles, with arches and partially collapsed walls. The reverse bears a handwritten address to Madame Marie Desnuwels in Villefranche-sur-Mer, a green 40-centime stamp from Arles canceled on November 4, 1901, and a signature 'A. Desnuwels'.
