View of the ruins of the Abbey of Montmajour, famous in the time of Charlemagne, with a Romanesque church, crypt, and a 14th-century defensive tower (26 m high). The reverse bears the inscription 'Curte Postile' and indicates the printer 'Levy Fils & Cie, Paris'.
