View of the Fontcouverte cascade in the Clairée valley, near Briançon, with trees and rocks in the background. Reverse: postcard sent on September 10, 1925, from Briançon to Madame Beck in Woodford Green, Essex, England, with handwritten text describing a trip to Italy and the mountains of Briançon. Two stamps are affixed (a green 10c and a blue 50c), and the card is stamped with 'HAUTES-ALPES' and 'BRIANÇON'.
