Snowy view of a waterfall in the surroundings of Chambéry, at Jacob-Bellecombette (Savoie), with snow-covered rocks and a cascading stream. The reverse bears a handwritten address to Melle Hemmer, a boarder at the Trauchet Hotel in Paris, dated July 29, 1912, with a 10-centime postage stamp and a cancellation stamp from Gresy-sur-Ain.
