Description

Vestibule of the Château d'Anet, with a monumental black and white marble staircase, decorated with Corinthian pilasters and an ornate wrought iron railing bearing the letter L. of Louis de Vendôme. Three deer trophies are hung on the wall, beneath a wrought iron chandelier. The reverse is blank, with no visible stamp or cancellation.
