Description

View of the Grande-Chartreuse convent in the mountains, with its white buildings and dark roofs, surrounded by forests and snow-capped mountains. Printed text at the top: 'Surroundings of GRENOBLE, La Grande-Chartreuse, Entrance to the Convent'. On the reverse, a handwritten address to Mrs. J. Bazizon in Nîmes, with a 5-centime postmark and a cancellation from Grenoble dated September 21, 1907.
