View of a stone-arched viaduct overlooking a hilly landscape around La Cleyette. The reverse shows an address in Lyon for Madame L. Boeffer, with a green 10-centime stamp and a postmark from La Cleyette dated August 20, 1922. A handwritten inscription 'Une bien affreuse pensée' is visible at the bottom left.
