Black and white view of the Gorges du Céou in the valley of Fys, surrounded by wooded mountains and persistent snow. The reverse has a letter dated July 25, 1956, sent from Luchon (Hautes-Pyrénées) to Paris, with a 12-franc stamp and a postmark from July 26, 1956. The publisher is listed as 'Les Éditions Narkos'.
