Postcard showing the Hermitage Chapel in Pontmain, built in the 11th century and restored in 1536, very frequented by pilgrims, especially on Good Friday. The reverse has a handwritten letter dated December 1st, 1950, addressed to a Madame, mentioning a stop in Paris and a meeting in Pontmain. The publisher is Miss Maria Pommier, shop 'Jeanne-d'Arc', Place de la Basilique, Pontmain (Mayenne).
