View of the port and lighthouse of St-Georges near Royan, with moored boats and two people on the beach. The reverse side has a handwritten message: 'Happy New Year Jean Mallet', addressed to Monsieur Navrancourt, pharmacy in Mirebeau (Nièvre), with a stamp and postmark from Royan, Charente, dated 1906.
