Description

View of the Château de Condé-sur-Aisne, property of Mr Lefèvre-Gilbert, with a pond in the foreground. The printed text refers to the retreat of the Gauls to Bibrax by J. Caesar and the passage of Joan of Arc from Vailly to Soissons. The reverse features handwritten correspondence addressed to Madame Desfriens in Paris, two 9-centime green stamps, and a postmark from Saint-Sulpice (Tunisia) dated 18 August 1906.
