Description

View of the Abbey of Haute-Côme, founded by Saint Bernard between 1125 and 1135, with its ogival façade church and monuments. The printed text mentions the chapel serving as the burial place for the dukes and counts of Savoy, as well as the 300 remarkable statues and paintings inside. The reverse has a handwritten address to M. Bourdon in Lagny (Vise) and a 25-centime postage stamp canceled.
