Equestrian statue of General Kellermann at Camp de Glâtons, Valmy, commemorating his death on September 20, 1792. The printed text recalls that he commanded the French troops during the Battle of Valmy. The reverse presents the typical correspondence/address side of a postcard from that era, with no visible postmark or cancellation.
