Description

Black and white view of the Gorges d'Enfer, nicknamed Chimneys of the Devil, in the surroundings of Mont-Dore. Printed text at the bottom: 'SURROUNDINGS OF MONT-DORE. — The Gorges d'Enfer. — Chimneys of the Devil. — LL.' The back bears a handwritten letter addressed to 'Villa Andree, Luxeuil (Haute Saône)' and a 15 centime stamp canceled at 'BANDEY DE DOMME' on 20 May 1903.
