Description

View of the Abbé Barracks in Épernay, with an iron gate, buildings on either side, and several people in military or civilian attire. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence dated August 18, 1919, addressed to 'My dear Mother', mentioning a letter received in Paris and a meeting in Épernay. Postmark and stamp '19.A.6.C. N°47' visible.
