Description

Interior of the library of the Maison Romaine in Épinal, showing a richly decorated fireplace in neo-Roman style with geometric motifs and carvings, and a ceiling decorated with stucco. The floor is paved with marble tiles. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence dated 1914, addressed to Madame Dandoux, with a postage stamp and Épinal cancellation.
