Description

View of an animated square in Dresden with a fountain adorned with a seated statue and an obelisk, bordered by historic buildings and crossed by a tram. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 10-6-54, sent from Dresden to Comrade Fayose, mentioning arrival in Weimar, housing difficulties, and the presence of young female students. The postmark is obliterated 'Dresden' and bears the mention 'DDR'.
