View of the 'Sea of Sand' in Ermenonville, with several people in period costume walking or sitting on the sand. The reverse bears a handwritten inscription 'Souvenirs d'Excursion' and an address to Madame Vlacquiant in Puteaux (Seine), with a 25-centime postmark and a Paris cancellation dated 30 May 1930.
