Colored view of the Kopstadtplatz market in Essen/Ruhr, with ornate facades and open-air stalls. On the reverse, handwritten address to Mr. Vanderstichelle Gilbert in Montreuil-sur-Mer, postmark and stamp from Brest dated 7 July 1894, as well as a stamp from the 30th Army Corps in Vaguevestre.
