Representation of the Temple of Angkor, a monumental replica built for the International Colonial Exhibition in Paris in 1931. The image shows the stone structure with sculpted lions on the steps and a bare tree in the foreground. On the reverse, credits attribute the sculpture to Auberlet and the architecture to Blanche, with the publisher Braun & Cie, Paris.
