Black and white panoramic view of a village perched on a steep hill, overlooking a bay and a winding road across a stone viaduct. The reverse bears a handwritten letter dated April 22, 1935, addressed to 'My Dear Jane', mentioning holidays in Sainte-Marguerite and 'beautiful excursions' in Provence, signed 'Jeanne, Déprat'.
