Panoramic view of a lake under a cloudy sky, with a steep shore on the left and a distant horizon line. On the reverse, handwritten text addresses the card to 'Mrs. McColleu' in Vaux et de Taut, Courgeac, with a note of 'Friday 29' and a date '19/18' (probably 1918). The Italian postmark is obliterated 'St. Cloud' and the card bears the inscription 'Firma 214 V. Uff. Rev. St. - Terni'.
