Color illustration of an old car with four passengers, including a driver in uniform, stopping in front of a gate with a guard. On the reverse, a French postcard dated August 23, 1903, sent from Barques (Charente-Maritime) to Marseille, with two blue stamps and handwritten text. The printed text at the bottom of the front indicates 'In Front of the Barrier'.
