Portrait of Baroness de Charette, born in London in 1809, widow of the Duke of Berry, married in 1826 to Baron Athanase de Charette, general commanding the Voltigeurs de Cuest during the war of 1870-71, and died in Chantelle in 1891. On the reverse, the card bears the publisher F. Chapeau, publisher, Nantes, with space for address and a non-applied postmark.
