Illustrated postcard of a smiling baby in a wicker basket decorated with a large green ribbon and roses, with printed text at the bottom: 'Cherancel et bel Pouf sa bation, à l'honneur de vous faire part de son arrivée au monde le 8 X 1907'. On the reverse, a 10-centime French postage stamp, postmark from Persigny (Aisne) dated 12-12-1907, and handwritten address to 'Marthe Varlet, chez ses parents, à Roquecour, près Persigny, Aisne'.
