Description

New Year's greeting card decorated with a holly motif and red berries, hanging from red ribbons, with a winter scene in an oval at the center. The printed text 'Happy New Year' is calligraphed at the bottom. The reverse contains a handwritten letter dated 1909, addressed to a friend, mentioning health and wishes for happiness. A 25-centime French Republic stamp is affixed at the top left, postmarked.
