Illustrated postcard of a child sitting in a basket surrounded by roses, with a printed poem at the bottom: 'I was before birth in the middle of a Rose, Like a yellow warbler nestled in its nest. When I came out, as soon as the flower had bloomed, Little father cried: Ah! cuccu!... Here she is.' The back has a handwritten address to Monsieur Édouard Vatte in Villeriers-le-Bel (Seine-et-Oise) and a postmark from Paris.
