Small girl in a colorful dress sitting on a chair, holding an open book, in front of a table decorated with a doll and flowers. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Mrs. Rossignol, postmistress in Montpellier, with a French 10-centime postmark stamped 'RÉPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE - ST CHA' and a note '903 Vétraube' at the bottom right.
