Postcard illustration of violets in color on a pale green background, with a handwritten message in French: 'Thank you for your bazaar, which you also have here'. Reverse: red 10 kopecks stamp from Plovdiv (Bulgaria), circular postmark 'PLEVDOV' dated 16/9/1916, recipient 'Madame Mlle Gontard under chestnut at the chestnut grove of Boung (Ain)', with multilingual inscription 'Postcard - Universal Postal Union'.
