Illustrated postcard of a bouquet of chrysanthemums with printed poem: 'A noble and sincere heart, Like the rose that blooms Spreads a healing fragrance Around it, all smiles.' On the reverse, handwritten message: 'Hello to you Jeanne. Send me some white chocolate.' The publisher Z.H. Brunet is signed at the bottom left. The address is to Madame Marie Batisse in Lure, Haute Saône, with two 5-centime stamps and a postmark from Lure dated 23 May 1903.
