Description

Birthday card decorated with a bird, flowers, and an ornamental frame, with the handwritten inscription 'Birthday' and 'with my Wishes of Happiness'. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Mr. Guillaume in Montorgueil, Paris, dated Sunday, April 1st, 1897, mentioning a trip to Paris. Red 10-centime 'République Française' postmark affixed at the top right.
