Description

Portrait of a smiling man holding a fish decorated with a red ribbon, with the inscription 'April 1st' and the text 'What he will tell you, I dare not write to you!' On the reverse, a handwritten letter states that the fish was caught in the Cher and is intended for Monsieur Madame and Mr. Couffet in Paris. A French 10-centime postmark from 1907 is affixed at the top left.
