Description

Humorous postcard showing a man sitting, clearly anxious, while a woman comforts him by saying 'Now, George, don't get mushey!' and 'Voyons, Georges, tiens-toi tranquille!', with a donkey looking over a fence. Reverse: handwritten text dated Saturday 20 May 1922, sent from Paris to 'Dear little mother', with a note about a restaurant meal and a visit to the hairdresser. Publisher: Comique Art Co., Florence House, Barnes, London.
