Description

Caricature of a giant in a white apron holding a magnifying glass and a large plate with a very small portion of meat, illustrating food shortages. Printed text at the bottom: 'VERY LITTLE MEAT FOR A LARGE PLATE RESTRICTIONS 2697'. Reverse: handwritten message dated April 5, 1919, addressed to 'mon sieur Potan', with a cancellation stamp 'BONNE' and a postmark.
