Description

Color illustration of a garden with two blue birds perched on a flowering rose trellis, accompanied by a small sign indicating '1st April'. At the bottom, a drawing of a fish (fisherman?) with color details. Reverse: French 5-centime postmark, cancellation 'CHARENTON', handwritten address to M. Jean Pounvelley in Charenton, and printed text stating that the correspondence on the front is not accepted by all foreign countries.
