Monochrome sepia intimate scene of a man in a suit and a woman in a dress sitting, reading a magazine. The reverse has a handwritten date of July 19, 1918, addressed to 'Madame Bay' in Paris, with a 'P.C. PARIS' cancellation and the indication 'French Manufacturing'.
