Description

Subject: couple in period costume posing in front of a fish basket, with a panel indicating 'APRIL 1st SAINT FAITTE'. Printed text at the bottom: 'Put it on the ice is the business of an instant, let us all laugh April, the return of spring'. Reverse: handwritten address to Monsieur and Madame Leopold Coular, 95 Rue Victor Hugo, Perigueux, with a postmark and cancellation stamp from Périgueux dated 20 March 1906.
