Description

Colorized postcard depicting a soldier and a woman kissing, with a rose in the lapel. The printed text at the bottom says: 'Be good, my dear / To my lip that begs / Ah! Give alms / Of the kiss that it desires!' On the reverse, handwritten text says: 'A thousand good kisses / On your dear lips? —'. At the bottom of the reverse, it reads 'French Manufacturing' and a stylized signature. A blue stain is visible at the bottom right.
